Obituary for -------黄林寶蓮 ------ Paolien Huang
Paolien Lin Huang, loving wife of Richard Chun Hsin Huang, passed away on June 10, 2022 at age 75 from cancer in her home in Katy Texas.
Paolien was born in Taipei, Taiwan to Wu family and adopted by Lin family. She maintained strong bonds with both families. Paolien and Chun Hsin married in 1974, they had three daughters. She moved to Texas with husband and daughters in 1989. She was an active member and volunteer of Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, and Houston Taiwan Institute of Senior Citizens. She loved arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, sewing, flower arranging, gardening, and cooking. She traveled many places with family and friends within the US, Taiwan, and around the globe.
She left behind children Tiffany (Reed)Thomas, Ann (Johnny) Gonzalez, and Jessica (Robert) Snelson; grandchildren Adam and Jacqueline Thomas, Erik and Alyssa Gonzalez, and Eli and Malcolm Snelson.

黃林寶蓮於2022年6月10日在凱蒂, 德克薩斯州家中因癌症去世，享年75歲。
寶蓮出生於臺灣台北吳家，收養於林家。她與兩個家庭保持著牢固的聯繫。寶蓮和純信於1974年結婚，他們有三個女兒。1989年，她與丈夫和女兒們移民到德克薩斯州。 她是佛教慈濟基金會，休斯頓華僑文教服務中心，和休斯頓臺灣松年學院的成員和志工。她喜歡繪畫、手工藝、編織、鉤針、縫紉、插花、園藝、合唱團、跳舞和烹飪。她與家人們和朋友們在美國，臺灣和全球各地旅行。
她留下了丈夫黃純信和女兒們黃潔瑩、黃潔茵、黃潔欣；女婿們Reed Thomas、Johnny Gonzalez 、Robert Snelson；孫子黃翊安 、黃翊恩 、黃翊來、黃翊銘 ，孫女黃翊莎、黃翊潔。
