"My mother, Chandra Devi Kundandas whose life was a shining example of how God sends angels on earth to take care of those in need. She indeed was so true to her name” Chandra”, like a moon she shined her cool and soothing light of love, compassion, and selfless care on her family and anyone she saw in need. She was a “Devi” to so many who were blessed to know her and be touched by her deep humanity, utmost humility, and gratitude beyond words.

She was a doting grandmother “ Nani” to her two grandkids, a soulmate sister to her sister and brothers, and a caring and loving sister-in-law to all her bhabhis. To all her nephews, nieces and all those who knew her she was the best” Dadi” who often was their mother, mentor, teacher, friend, and guardian.

From early life onwards she faced all her life struggles head-on with amazing strength, hard work, persistence, and courage, and till last, she fought for life like a champion. I am so blessed to be her daughter and wish that I get her as a mother in every life. She was my everything. She will be missed so dearly by all of us. She has finally reached God’s home.

Let us all bid her farewell with love and prayers. May her soul always be at peace and may she continue to shine the light of love and bless us from heaven above.
