Dinesh Narain Raizada July 8, 1945 – May 13, 2022
Dinesh Narain Raizada, 76, of Agra, UP India, passed away on May 13, 2022 after a courageous fight with cancer for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at Windford Funeral Home 8514 Tybor Dr. Houston, TX 77074 with Pundit Shree Bhawani Shankar Shastri officiating. Cremation will immediately follow services.
Dinesh Narain Raizada was born in the city of Agra in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on July 8, 1945. He married Gyan Saxena in 1973 in Kanpur,UP India. Dinesh had a Masters in Biology and was a Doctor of Homeopathy in India. In 1980, Dinesh and Gyan with their two young sons made the journey to begin their lives in the United States. For the majority of Dinesh’s life before retiring, he worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry where he mixed his love of science with his charm and personality.
Dinseh spent his last years surrounded by family and enjoying the fruits of his retirement by traveling with his wife to places like Alaska, Europe and the Caribbean. However, on any given day his favorite past time was catching a good cricket game or watching a James Bond movie unless it starred Roger Moore.
Dinesh is preceded in death by his mother, Shakuntala, and father, Har Narain, and his brother Ram Narain.
Dinesh is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Gyan, his son Vivek and grandson Devan, his son Vishal and wife Charlene along with granddaughter Amelie and grandson Archer, brothers Gopal, Yogesh, Uday, Rakesh, Akhilesh, and sisters Rajni and Suneela, as well as many nephews and nieces.
