Gurdip Singh Buttar, 72, resident of Houston, Texas, born in Village Khardehar, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India , succumbed to cancer on November 22, 2022. Gurdip is survived by his wife Kuldip of 40 years, daughter Harman Kaur Pandher, son Jasmeet Singh Buttar, brothers Surjit Singh, Mohan Singh and Jagjit Singh, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Gurdip was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. Gurdip was a psychiatrist, but was forced to retire due to his health after nearly 20 years in private practice. He spent his free time playing with his grandchildren, watching documentaries, and chatting with friends. Gurdip was always there to help others.
