Huong Kim Duong passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92 on May 6, 2020. Ms. Duong was born in Cambodia on April 29, 1928. She was married to Mr. Phu Chi Quang. Ms. Duong had 5 sons, 6 daughters, 7 sons-in-law, 5 daughters-in-law, 25 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Ms. Duong lived a modest life as a devout Buddhist. She enjoyed spending time with all her children. Although she could not read and write, she was fluent in many languages including Mandarin, Hainanese, Teochew, Cambodian, and Vietnamese. In her early years, Ms. Duong owned and managed a restaurant with her husband in Vietnam. In the 1980s after the Vietnam War, she immigrated to Taiwan. She moved to the United States in the 1990s. During her life, she was able to travel back to Taiwan and Vietnam. She enjoyed traveling to California, Florida, Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Lake Charles, New Orleans, Canada, and Cancun.
