Obituary for Jagdishchandra Jatashankar Mehta
Jagdish Mehta passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, January 25, 2021.
He is survived by his immediate family of Shaan and Sachin (grandsons), Sneha (daughter-in-law) and Jitesh (son). Jagdishbhai, as he was fondly known, lived a rich and fulfilling life throughout his 87 years. He was born in India and lived in the US with his family for the last 20 years. He was passionate about cricket and loved his food, particularly Indian mithai. He maintained excellent health and did his last intensive yoga routine the day before he passed. He leaves behind a large community of friends that he made through every social interaction he ever had. We will all miss him very much and we know he is watching over us with his beautiful smile and blessings.
