Obituary for Jianqiang Luo 羅建强
Jianqiang Luo passed away on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at 12:28am at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife Fei, his son Matthew, and his five siblings.
Jianqiang was born on August 26th, 1961 in Jinan, Shandong and grew up in Penglai. From a young age, he was an exemplary student and performed well in his studies. In 1979, he attended Tsinghua University after placing first in the Penglai College Entrance Examination. In 1994, he came to the United States to study at Louisiana State University. Later, he became a computer engineer and founded his own software company in 2006.
Jianqiang was known for being full of energy and love for friends and family.
Two years ago, he was diagnosed with mucosal melanoma, a rare and deadly cancer. After undergoing various treatments, he finally left us.
