Kanubhai was born on April 22, 1944 in Ras, India. He was one of 3 siblings and was thrust early on to be nurturing, disciplined and caring.

Blessed with an ability to just get things done, he pursued his dreams of helping people by becoming an Ayuervedic Doctor while losing his father in his second year of college. There are countless stories of Kanubhai helping people in need and never expecting anything in return, he simply always said “you should help anyone at anytime because that’s what matters in life”

After 12 years practicing medicine, at the age of 39, he decided it was time to help his family and move to America where the next generation and future generations would be able to thrive. Against many odds, he was able to successfully transition into a Hardware Store owner for his second career and eventually retired as a proud business owner.

Kanubhai is survived by his wife, Jaybala, his children (Ashish and Ami), grandson Niyam and an everlasting group of Family and Friends that will always remember his way with words, his jokes and unwavering generosity.
