Luong Ngo (Huynh) 吴(黄)两)
December 31, 1930 - June 24, 2020

In loving memory of our most beloved Mrs. Luong Ngo.

She was aged 90 (lunar years) and surrounded by loved ones when she passed peacefully on the morning of June 24th, 2020 at her residence.

Born in the Hakka central of Guangdong Province in China, she lived in Dabu County, east of Meizhou City (中国广东州市黄埔区怡园小区). She was the second child and eldest daughter in a family of five siblings. She married her husband and moved to Ban Me Thuot, Vietnam from China to build a new life together.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, 吴枼枫 (Wu Ye Feng); father, 黄先就 (Huynh Tien); mother, 徐塘 (Tu Duong); older brother; daughter, 吴足花 (Zu Hua Ngo); son,无名 (Wu Ming).

Of her four siblings, she is survived by two younger sisters and one younger brother, 黄仕(Huang Shi Ying);黄秀英 (Huang Xiu Ying); 黄捷丰 (Huang Jie Feng).

Luong Ngo was a woman of many strengths and a wonderfully devoted mother to her children. In 1977, with unparalleled courage, along with her husband, she fled the Vietnam War and overcame the trials of the refugee camps, taking her family of 14 children with her to safety. Faced with the challenges of splitting up the family, starting anew in Manchester, England, and eventually, settling in the United States, she was unfaltering every step of the way. Left to cherish her memories are four sons and ten daughters, Kiem Ngo (sp. Thao Ngo); Cuong Ngo (sp. Jenie Ngo); Anny Huynh-Ngo (sp. Henway Huynh); Sally Lam Pho (sp. Jacky Ton Pho); Sue Chang (sp. Kiet Tran); Phung Diep (sp. Suong Diep); Hanh Ngo; Ivy Thi Xuan Choi (sp. James Man Hung Choi); Lisa Choi (sp. deceased Vincent Choi); Sandra Ha (sp. Tony Ha); Mandy Hong (sp. Mau Hong); Thien Ngo (sp. Quyến Ngo); Hung Ngo; Kim Ngo (sp. Taylor Davis).

She was also a very dear and loving “ChaCha” to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest hobby was spending time with them; there was never a moment where she was not by their side.

She is lovingly remembered by her 36 grandchildren: Alan Pho; Amy Choi; Ava Ngo; Calvin Ngo; Chanh Huynh (sp. Irene Huynh); Chinson Huynh; Cindy Moss (sp. Sam Moss); Ethan Davis; Gina Hong; Harry Ha (sp. Quynh Ha); Jayden Davis; Jayson Chi Ngo; Jen Choi; Jenny Thai (sp. Daniel Duong); John Choi; Karen Ha; Kathy Tran; Kit Pho (sp. Kathy Pho); Lilli Pho (sp. Henry Shiu); Lily Choi (sp. Donny Chan); Lina Huynh; Madelyn Davis; May Choi (sp. Chris Ma); Minh Huynh (sp. Vanessa Huynh); Mylan Hsu (sp. Victor Hsu); MyLinh Ngo-Huynh (sp. Geran Huynh); Quy Diep (sp. Hang Nguyen-Xuan); Richard Thai; Sofia Thai; Steven Hong; Thu Ngo (sp. An Luu); Tom Ngo (sp. Sindy Ngo); Tomi Choi; Victoria Choi; Wayne Choi; Will Tran (sp. Christie Tran).

The future of her legacy will be continued by her 15 great-grandchildren: Aidan Ngo; Alyssa Luu, Andrew Huynh; Colin Luu, Hudson Hsu; Jamie Huynh; Katelyn Ngo; Liam Diep; Mason Luu, Melissa Huynh; Nathan Ngo; Nicholas Huynh; Wyatt Diep; Tyrese Huynh; Tyron Huynh.

She was always leading by example. Even at a young age, she was already the forward thinker and resourceful woman that she would be throughout her life. There was never a job that she could not tackle.

We will miss the most gentle and fierce presence in our life.

一生为母, 一世为师。
