Obituary for Nayan Desai
Nayan Desai, 71, passed away on March 27th, 2023 after battling cancer. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30th, 2023, at 11:00 am Central Standard Time at Winford Funerals, Southwest (8514 Tybor Drive, Houston, TX 77074). Nayan is survived by his wife Chetna Desai, his son Rohan Desai, his daughter Mona Ledesma & son-in-law Nathan Ledesma. He is also blessed to have his sister Hina Desai, brother-in-law Ojas Desai, nieces Shweta Patel & Saloni Desai, and nephew Shail Desai along with their respective families surrounding him in support.
Along with family, Nayan has an army of close friends, most of whom have been by his side for many decades. Nayan’s wish was to focus on the positive and speak with his loved one’s as he always would rather than discuss the details of his illness. In his honor, we encourage those closest to him to focus on cherishing our shared fond memories as we all grieve.
Throughout his life, Nayan emphasized the importance of integrity and embraced being humble. His selflessness was exemplified by going above and beyond the call of duty while caring for his parents 2,000 miles away, unconditionally helping friends and family while never expecting anything in return, and having a trademark optimistic view of any scenario while working relentlessly for 4 decades to provide his family unforgettable experiences. May we all send him peace as his soul rests.
