Mr. Truyen Hoang’s Obituary Mr. Truyen Hoang was born on March 26, 1950 in Quang Tri, Vietnam. On June 7, 2022, Mr. Truyen passed in his sleep at home in Houston, caused by a heart attack, at the age of 72 years old, surrounded by the presence and love of his wife and six children.

Mr. Truyen loved his family and his grandchildren more than anything and worked tirelessly throughout his life to bring up his six children. Other than spending time with his family, he enjoyed spending time with his siblings and his closest friends. When he was not with his family and friends, Mr. Truyen enjoyed doing charity work, including driving the elders to mass services at the parish he attended. He was a great cook for the family and loved receiving positive compliments on his dishes. Mr. Truyen’s perfect day was being around his loved ones, listened to the radio in the garage while enjoying a couple drinks before bedtime.

Mr. Truyen is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ba Nguyen; his four sons, Joseph Dung Hoang, Thomas Tung Hoang, Hai Hoang, Bryan Hoa Hoang; his two daughters, Kim Hoang Simon and Lynn Nga Hoang; his two grandsons, Aiden Hoang and Brady Hoang; his three granddaughters, Audrey Hoang, Madeline Hoang and Skye Hoang. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the following charities to pray for the soul of Paul.
