Obituary for Nu Luong - 李們吳素霞
Nu Luong peacefully passed on Friday, May 1, 2020 after 83 wonderful years, surrounded by her husband and children.
Nu Luong was born on the 6th of June 1937, in Saigon, Vietnam. In May 1957, she married
Nguu Lee, the love of her life. While in Vietnam, she was an incredible stay-at-home mother raising their four sons, Tues, Hue, Quang and Alan, and five daughters, Lien, Johanna, Phuong, Stephanie and Jessica.
After migrating to the U.S., she continued to help as much as she can, taking care of her children. Her family continued to grow in the form of grandkids, and there would eventually be many of them, which was perfect because she had so much love to give. Nu was an extraordinary and proud grandmother of twenty grandkids and seven great-grandkids; she never missed an opportunity to show off and brag about any of them to her friends at the senior center.
Nu had a big heart and cared about her family deeply. Even while her health was at risk, she continued to focus on loving her husband and family until the end.
Nu Luong was beautiful, thoughtful, and loving beyond measure. She loved orchids, going shopping, traveling with her husband, playing her panda slot machine, and most importantly, her family.
