Obituary for Tot Van Bui

Tot Van Bui born in Saigon Vietnam on October 22, 1950. Tot Bui served at 18 years old in the Vietnamese Navy. Tot Bui bravely fought in the Vietnam War helping to save many soldiers in the Vietnam War and defending South Vietnam from Communist takeover. Shortly after the Vietnam War Tot built many boats to help families escape from North Vietnam Communist Regime. Tot's family was able to escape and make it to America in 1979 settling into a small country town called Casper, Wyoming. The family integrated quickly by the help of a Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Members and wonderful people in the community of Casper. Tot worked for Amoco Oil Company for 35 years from which he retired from in 2010. Tot moved his family in 1992 from Casper, Wyoming to Friendswood, Texas. Tot and family have resided in Texas for 28 years. Tot is loved by many friends and family. Tot is a dedicated family man, hardworking, honest, loyal, giving, loving, kind, tender hearted, and loved to tell jokes. Tot's favorite hobby was golfing, making golf clubs, and spending time with the grandkids teaching them golf. Tot was a blessing to all those that knew him. Tot loved life and he brought to much joy to everyone's life. Tot can fix anything and solve and problem you had. Tot never said no to anyone that asked him for help. Tot Bui left a legacy of treating people well and loved many people. Tot Bui is survived by his wife Tuyet Bui, two daughters Hong Bui and Pauline Bui, one son Nam Bui, one sister Cuc Bui, and one brother Thom Bui, other cousins, other relatives, grandchildren, and many, many friends
